CraftPilot

Terms of use

Last updated: 4 October 2026

These terms apply to the CraftPilot Android app, developed and operated by BytenestStudio, based in Slovenia (“we”). By using the app you accept them.

The app

Measuring tools, the floor plan, calculators and cut optimizers can be used without an account. Work orders require a free account. Some features need CraftPilot Pro.

Measurements and estimates

The bubble level, ruler and compass depend on your phone’s sensors and screen and may be inaccurate. Floor plans, calculators and cut optimizers give estimates based on what you enter and common assumptions about consumption, waste and spacing. Always check measurements, quantities and manufacturers’ instructions before ordering material or doing work. We are not responsible for material shortages, surplus or work based on these estimates.

Documents and invoices

You are responsible for the content of work orders, estimates and invoices you create, and for meeting tax and invoicing rules in your country. The app does not fiscally verify invoices, for example cash invoices in Slovenia (FURS).

Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe. You can delete your account at any time, see Delete your account. We may suspend an account that is used to abuse the service.

Team projects and chat

When you share a work order or write in a project’s chat, you are responsible for what you share, including your customers’ data. Do not post content that is illegal, offensive, harassing, or spam, or that infringes other people’s rights.

With Pro, you can add PDF documents to work orders (up to 10 MB each and 1 GB in all). With the Team plan, you can share them with your team; shared copies are kept while the plan is active and for 3 months after it ends, then deleted. The documents in your work orders and links to documents stored elsewhere are not affected.

Any member can report a message in the app. Reports come to us with a copy of the message. We may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these terms. The project owner can remove members, and every member can leave a project.

CraftPilot Pro

Cloud space (fair use)

Work orders in your account are stored in the cloud. So the service stays affordable for everyone, including lifetime Pro, an account can keep up to 10,000 work order photos and up to 1 GB of document files (each up to 10 MB). The number of work orders is not limited. The app shows how much is used in Settings; when the space is full, delete photos or old work orders you no longer need before adding new ones. Nothing is deleted without your action.

Availability and changes

We continuously improve the app and may change or remove features. We do not guarantee that the app will always work without interruptions or errors. When you are signed in, work orders are saved to your account; work orders made without an account are stored only on your phone, so keep your own backups of those (export to PDF).

Liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage or lost profit arising from its use. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory laws of their country of residence.
